✨ Camps: Setup, visibility, and billing improvements - 01/15/26

❓ What is changing?

We’ve made several updates to Camps to streamline setup, improve visibility, and give you more control over billing. You can now copy existing camps to create new ones faster, search and filter camps in Student and Family records to quickly locate specific enrollments, and choose whether camp fees post on a fixed date or a set number of days before camp.

💡 Why did Jackrabbit make this change?

Running camps often means managing repeat programs, large enrollment lists, and precise billing timelines. These updates reduce repetitive work, make camp information easier to find, and give you flexibility to align fee posting with your business needs.

🛠️ What do I need to do?

  • Head to the Camps page to try out the copy camp functionality.
    • Copy an existing camp - click the More Options menu in the camp card and select Copy.
    • Copy while creating a camp - when you create a new camp you can choose to Save & Copy Camp to make a copy at the same time.

  • Try out the new search and filter tools on the Camps tab of your Student and Family records. 
  • Define the fixed date you want camp fees to post in the Balance Transaction Date section of the Camp record.  

ℹ️ Helpful Info

  • ❗Copied camps will not show in the Parent Portal until you enable them using the Display in Portal setting in the Camp record.
