❓ What is changing?

⛺ Camps are officially here for all Jackrabbit users 🎉!

You can now create single-day or multi-day camps directly from the Activities menu, whether they're morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions. Flexible scheduling and pricing, deposit and balance handling, and Activity Calendar integration make it easy to plan, manage, and visualize your camps from start to finish.

To make things even smoother, parents can sign up and pay directly through the Parent Portal, reducing manual work for your team and speeding up registration. Camp setup just got a whole lot easier!

💡 Why did Jackrabbit make this change?

Camps make it easier to attract new families, fill more spots, and generate additional revenue during peak registration seasons. This update was shaped by feedback from hundreds of our early adopters, and we’re already working on the next round of enhancements to make your life even easier.

🛠️ What do I need to do?

Ensure you have the Manage Camps User Permission, then head to the Activities menu to begin setting up your camps.

ℹ️ Helpful Info

• Camps are structured in three layers: the Camp, which defines overall setup and billing rules; Camp Sessions, which specify the dates students are enrolled in; and Time Periods, which determine daily schedules and pricing. Students are enrolled in a session and choose a time period (such as full or half day), which controls attendance and fees, with camp billing handled separately from regular classes.
