✨ Classes: Minimum Days Required To Enroll (Per-Day Classes) - 02/12/26
❓ What is changing?
You can now set a Minimum Days Required To Enroll for multi-day classes that use per-day enrollment.
When a class is configured as a per-day class, a new field appears on the Summary tab of the Class record allowing you to define the minimum number of days a student must enroll in.
This requirement is enforced in the Parent Portal and the new registration flow (Portal Registration - Jackrabbit Labs).
💡 Why did Jackrabbit make this change?
Programs offering multi-day classes often require students to attend a minimum number of days. Previously, enforcing this requirement required manual monitoring, duplicate class records, or follow-up with families.
This update allows you to manage multi-day classes as a single record while clearly communicating enrollment requirements during registration. It reduces reconciliation work for administrators and creates a clearer enrollment experience for families.
🛠️ What do I need to do?
When setting up a per-day class, enter the required value in Minimum Days Required To Enroll on the Summary tab of the Class record.
In the Parent Portal:
- Families must select at least the minimum number of days to complete enrollment.
- A warning displays if the requirement is not met.
- Enrollment proceeds once the minimum is satisfied.
Admins are notified of the requirement when enrolling a student but can override it if needed.
