✨ Appointments: Edit existing bookings - 05/07/26
❓ What is changing?
You can now edit key details on existing appointment bookings without needing to cancel and rebook the appointment.
Fields that can be updated:
- Instructor
- Room
- Location
- Categories
Conflict alerts are displayed when instructors or rooms already have a scheduling conflict, but bookings can still be saved when overrides are needed.
💡 Why did Jackrabbit make this change?
Previously, making changes to appointment details required cancelling and recreating the booking, creating extra work and increasing the risk of mistakes.
This update makes it easier to manage day-to-day scheduling changes by allowing users to update appointment details directly, saving time and reducing unnecessary rebooking.
🛠️ What do I need to do?
- Open an existing appointment booking.
- Edit the instructor, room, Location, or categories as needed.
- Review any conflict alerts before saving changes.
Updates are saved directly to the existing booking.
ℹ️ Helpful Info
- Category 1 and Location are required fields and cannot be removed from a booking.
- Instructors, rooms, and Categories 2 and 3 can be added or removed during editing.
