How can I control access to certain areas in Jackrabbit?

When you add a new Jackrabbit User ID, not all User Permissions are granted by default. This allows you to control who can perform sensitive tasks or access certain areas of your system. User Permissions are managed from within each individual User ID profile.

To adjust a User's permissions:

  1. Go to the Gear icon > Settings Users & Permissions.
  2. Click on a UserID to open their User Details.
  3. Choose User Permissions from the left menu. 
  4. In the Description field, search using keywords to find any related permissions, e.g., Appointments, Camps.
  5. Select or clear the checkboxes to match the permissions you want the User ID to have.

⚠️A User must log out and log back in again to see new permissions take effect.
