Scheduled makeup date is showing in red

I have scheduled a makeup for a child, but the date is in red. Can you explain why? Will this cause a problem?

Resolution

The scheduled makeup appears in red because the makeup date falls after the makeup expiration date. When viewing a student’s Absences tab, hover over the red text to see a pop-up message explaining why it appears in red.

Makeup dates shown in red do not cause any issues; this is just an alert to bring awareness. The student will still appear on the roster for the scheduled makeup date, and attendance can be taken as usual.
