Camps - An Overview
Camps helps you manage seasonal and short-term programs such as summer camps, holiday camps, workshops, and special events. It provides a flexible way to organize registration, enrollment, scheduling, and pricing while keeping related offerings together.
Whether you're offering a single-day event, a week-long camp, or a multi-week program, Camps helps you manage registrations, promote opportunities online, and provide families with clear enrollment options through Camp Listings and the Parent Portal.
🚀 Get started with Camps
- Ensure your User ID has the Manage Camps User Permission enabled.
- Access Camps from the Activities menu > Camps.
- Familiarize yourself with the Camp → Camp Session → Time Period structure before creating your first Camp.
📋 How the Camps feature works
Camps follow a straightforward workflow from setup through enrollment:
- Create a Camp to define the overall program, including its name, description, and date range.
- Build Camp Sessions and Time Periods to provide the attendance options families can choose from.
- Configure pricing, enrollment, registration, attendance settings, and optional or required Add-ons, such as T-shirts or lunches.
- Publish the Camp through Camp Listings and the Parent Portal so families can browse, register online, and purchase available Add-ons.
- View your Camps in the Activity Calendar to monitor schedules, plan staffing, and manage daily activities.
