Camps - An Overview

Camps helps you manage seasonal and short-term programs such as summer camps, holiday camps, workshops, and special events. It provides a flexible way to organize registration, enrollment, scheduling, and pricing while keeping related offerings together.

Whether you're offering a single-day event, a week-long camp, or a multi-week program, Camps helps you manage registrations, promote opportunities online, and provide families with clear enrollment options through Camp Listings and the Parent Portal.

🚀 How do I get started?

To start using Camps:

  • Access the Camps feature by ensuring your User ID has the Manage Camps User Permission enabled.
  • Create a Camp and define the overall program details (Activities menu > Camps).
  • Build Camp Sessions and attendance options for families to enroll in.
  • Configure pricing, enrollment, and registration settings.
  • Publish the Camp online and begin accepting registrations.

📋 How does it work?

Camps are organized in three layers:

Camp ➡️ Camp Session ➡️ Time Period

Each Camp serves as the umbrella for your program and can contain one or more Camp Sessions. Within those Sessions, you can offer different attendance and pricing options through Time Periods. This structure allows you to manage everything from single-day events to multi-week programs while keeping related offerings organized under a single Camp.

When Camps are available online, families can browse available options through Camp Listings and the Parent Portal, then enroll in the Sessions and Time Periods you've made available.
