The Camps Feature - an Overview

The Camps feature is designed to help you run seasonal programs with less setup and more flexibility. Think of a camp as the umbrella - you define the name, description, and overall date range, then build one or more sessions within it. Most organizations group camps by theme, making it easy to organize offerings like summer programs or holiday break camps while keeping related sessions connected.

Within each camp, you can choose single-day or multi-day (weekly) sessions and define the core hours, such as full day, then layer in optional time periods like half day, early drop-off, or late pick-up. Pricing is set by session and defined for each time period, with optional deposits and configurable fees to support your billing strategy. Enrollment limits, registration settings, and user permissions give you control over how camps are managed and who can update them.

Families see clear, date-based options in the Parent Portal and can enroll in the sessions and time periods you’ve made available. Direct links and online listings make it simple to share camps on your website, and Camp Enrollment Rosters provide an easy way to view and print who’s registered - including important details your team needs on hand.
