Business Intelligence Dashboard - Location revenue differences

Objective

Understand how revenue is assigned to Locations in the Business Intelligence Dashboard.

Solution

The Business Intelligence Dashboard (BID) assigns revenue to the Location associated with the Class when determining revenue by Location.

If the Class Location differs from the Location on the fee or payment, BID uses the Class Location to allocate revenue. This helps ensure revenue is attributed to the Location where the service was delivered.

If no Class is associated with the transaction, BID uses the Location assigned to the fee.

As a result, revenue totals by Location may differ from Jackrabbit reports.

Overall revenue totals should still reconcile between BID and Jackrabbit. The difference is how the revenue is allocated across Locations, not the total revenue amount.
