Tuition Fee Settings - Tuition Fee posting

Objective

Understand how Tuition Fee Settings determine whether Tuition Fees are posted during enrollment.

Solution

The By Class Fee Settings and By Total Hours Settings in Tuition Fee Settings determine whether Tuition Fees are automatically posted when students enroll through Quick Registration, Enroll buttons and links, Online Registration, or the Parent Portal.

Depending on the selected setting, Jackrabbit can:

Not post Tuition Fees during enrollment.
Post full Tuition Fees.
Post discounted Tuition Fees.
Post prorated Tuition Fees, if prorating is enabled.
Post discounted and prorated Tuition Fees, when applicable.

If Do not post tuition is selected, Tuition Fees are not created during enrollment and must be posted separately using the Post Tuition Fees process.
