Appointment allowing overbooking after room assignment updated

Issue/Question


Appointments are allowing double bookings even though they are set to only 1.
 

Resolution


This behavior occurs when an existing Appointment Type’s Room Association field(s) are changed from a specific room (e.g., Studio 1 to N/A). When the original booking was created, it was tied to a specific room.

At this time, changes to Appointment Types (e.g., room, staff association) does not automatically update existing appointment bookings.

If you do need to edit an Appointment Type with existing bookings, you will need to cancel those booked appointments and re-enroll the students accordingly into the new Appointment Type.
