Emailing families who previously attended a location
Issue/Question
I am reopening a location and would like to write to previous families in one email. Do I have to restore all the classes?
Resolution
There is no need to restore classes to email past students. The Enrollment Detail report can be used to email families who previously attended classes at a specific location.
- Go to Students> Student Reports and choose Enrollment Detail report
- Choose the Class Location
- Use the following search criteria to ensure previously archived classes are included
- Set Active Classes Only to No
- Set Student Status to be blank
- Set Enrollment Status to All (Current and Past) Enrollments
- Add Enrolled Date or Enrollment (as of) date ranges (optional)
- To get one row per student choose Student Summary for Show Enrollment Details or Student Summary
- Choose Submit
This will bring up a list of students who took a class at that location. To email them...
- Click the Show All button at the top
- Choose recipients by either clicking the Email All box or selecting specific families
- Click the blue Email button and then follow the normal process for sending out an email
