Assign a default Time Clock Department to Staff
Issue/Question
When teachers clock in, they choose a "department" as their department to show what they are doing. How do I assign a default department to teachers?
Resolution
To assign a default Department to staff, follow these steps:
- Go to Staff > Active Staff and click on the Staff's name to enter their record
- Go to their Portal Settings tab
- In the My Time Card section, select a Default Department for the Staff member
- Select Save Changes
