Assign a default Time Clock Department to Staff

When teachers clock in, they choose a "department" as their department to show what they are doing. How do I assign a default department to teachers?

Resolution


To assign a default Department to staff, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Staff > Active Staff and click on the Staff's name to enter their record
  2. Go to their Portal Settings tab
  3. In the My Time Card section, select a Default Department for the Staff member
  4. Select Save Changes
