How do I make a change to a scheduled task I have already created?

Resolution


You can update some details of a scheduled (automated) task after it’s created - but not the processing criteria or settings.

What you can edit:

  • Task Name
  • Next Run Date/Time
  • Recurrence 
  • Email reminder selection

What you can't edit:

  • Criteria and settings selected for a tuition posting task (Post Later)
  • Criteria and settings selected for an ePayment processing task (Process Later)

To change any criteria or processing settings, delete the task and create a new one with the updated selections.

Udpate an editable field:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu > Automation > Task Management
  2. Click the Row menu icon (3 dots) for the task to be updated and select Edit
  3. Update the editable fields as needed and click Next
  4. Optionally update the email reminder selection
  5. Click Save
