Change default makeup eligibility setting

Is there a way to change the default setting so that when a student is marked absent, a makeup is not automatically allowed?
Resolution
You can adjust this in your general settings by following the steps below.
Navigate to the Gear (icon) > Settings > General.
Scroll to the Makeup Settings section.
Set Eligibility for Absences to Never Allow Makeups.
Save Changes.
