Parent Portal Makeups - Parents cannot schedule

Allow parents to schedule makeup classes through the Parent Portal.

Solution

Parents can schedule makeup classes only when enabled in the Parent Portal Absences & Makeup Settings, in the General Settings.

1. Go to the Gear icon > Settings > General.

2. Select Organization Defaults from the left menu.

3. Navigate to the Parent Portal Absence & Makeup Settings section.

4. Under Allow parents to record absences?, select Yes.

5. Click Save Changes.
