Enable a Camp to display online and locate the embed code

Issue/Question

We want to add our camps to our website and need to provide our web person the code to be embedded. How do we do that?

Resolution

Use the Display in Online Camp Listings setting to control whether a camp appears in your online Camp Listings. Once enabled, you can copy the embed code directly from the Camp record to add the listing to your website.

Go to the Activities menu > Camps
In the Camp card, click the More Options menu icon (3 dots) and select Edit
In the Timeframe & Visibility section, select the checkbox to Display in Online Camp Listings
Click the Get Embed Code button that appears after enabling that setting
In the Camp Listings Embed Code window, click the Copy link ( ) next to the method you want to use:
- Automatic Placement - Use this method when you want the listing to render directly where the script is inserted in your page
- Custom Placement - Choose this option when you need the listing to load inside a specific container within your page layout
- Direct URL (iframe) - Use this method when your website platform restricts JavaScript but allows iframe embeds

⚠️ This code directs families to the Parent Portal for login (existing families) or sign-up (new families). Portal Registration in Jackrabbit Labs must be turned on; Camps are not supported by the legacy Online Registration Form.
