Require payment for Appointments at checkout

Objective


Require parents to pay for a type of appointment when booked in the Parent Portal.

Solution


The fee settings for an Appointment Type determine whether payment is required when those appointments are booked in the Parent Portal.

  1. Go to the Activities menu > Appointments.

  2. Select the Types tab.

  3. Click the More Options menu (3 dots) for the Appoinment Type you want to require payment for and select Edit.

  4. Navigate to Step 3 Fees.

  5. Select the checkbox for Payment Due at Portal Booking to require payment.

  6. Define whether payment is assessed for the First Booking Only (Per Student) or for All Bookings.

  7. Click Next: Additional Information and then Save and Publish.
