Controlling email notification recipients with User Permissions

Understand how User Permissions affect who receives email notifications.

Solution

User Permissions control access to the Notification settings page, but they do not control which email addresses receive notifications.

Users with the Email Families & Email/Print Student Schedules permission can access and update Notification settings, including adding or changing email addresses. The system does not restrict which email addresses can be entered.

To control who receives notifications, update the email addresses in the Notification settings. See: Add an email recipient for enrollment notifications.
