Enroll students in classes from within Jackrabbit
Objective
Understand the different ways staff can enroll students in classes from within Jackrabbit.
Solution
Jackrabbit provides several ways to enroll students in classes. Each method leads to the same Enrollment Details window, where you review the enrollment and complete the process.
Choose the workflow that best fits how your staff works.
Enroll from a Family or Student record
Use this method when you're already working with a family or student.
- From a Family record, use the Enroll link on the Summary tab next to the student to enroll.
- From a Student record, click the Enroll button to enroll that student.
Enroll from the Activity Calendar
Use this method when you're viewing class availability on the calendar.
- Hover over an class card.
- Select Enroll Existing Students or Register New Students.
Enroll from the Quick Registration Form
Use this method when registering a new family and enrolling students at the same time.
Access the Quick Registration Form from:
- Families > Quick Registration
- Families > All Families > Add New Family > Use Quick Registration Form
Enroll from All Students or All Classes
Use these options when working from student or class lists.
- Students > All Students - Click the Row Actions (3 dots) icon next to a student and select Enroll.Â
- Classes > All Classes - Click the Row Actions (3 dots) icon next to a class and select Enroll Student.Â
Complete the enrollment
Regardless of where enrollment begins, the process is completed in the Enrollment Details window. From there you can:
- Review class information.
- Set an enrollment date.
- Schedule a future drop date and reason, if needed.
- Enroll the student in additional classes or select siblings to enroll in the same class (dependent on entry point).
- Complete the enrollment and, if applicable, post tuition fees.
