Objective

Understand how Automated Tasks scheduled for the 31st run in months with fewer than 31 days.

Solution

When an Automated Task to Post Tuition Fees or Process ePayments is scheduled to run on the 31st of each month, Jackrabbit automatically adjusts the schedule for months that have fewer than 31 days.

In months with 31 days, the task runs on the 31st.
In months with 30 days, the task runs on the 30th.
In February, the task runs on the last day of the month, whether that is the 28th or 29th.

For example, a task scheduled to run monthly on the 31st will run on September 30th because September has only 30 days.
