Create a vendor for Charitable Donations

Create a vendor in the Store for a charitable organization so it can be selected when setting up Charitable Donations.

Solution

Use the Store's Item Vendors page to create a vendor and designate it as a charity.

1. Go to Store > Item Vendors.

2. Click Add Vendor.

3. Enter the charity's name in the Vendor Name field.

4. Enter a Vendor ID.

5. Enter the charity's tax identification number.

6. Set Charity to Yes and select whether the charity is Tax Exempt.

7. Complete the contact and address information.

8. In the Notes section, enter any information you want families to see in the Parent Portal.

   • Consider including the charity's website so families can learn more about the organization.

   • Consider including the charity's tax ID for receipt purposes.

9. Click Save.
