Create a custom email template with the legacy Template Editor
Objective
Create a custom email template with formatted text, images, links, and other content using the legacy Template Editor.
Solution
Create a reusable email template using the legacy Template Editor, where you can format text, insert images and links, and add attachments using the editor toolbar.
- Go to Gear > Settings > Email Templates.
- Click the Add Template button.
- Enter the Template Name.
- For Type, select HTML.
- Enter the Subject Line.
- Use the Message editor to create and format the email content. Options include:
- Format text, including font, size, alignment, and other text styles.
- Add bulleted or numbered lists.
- Insert links.
- Insert images.
- Add tables and other available formatting.
- If needed, add an attachment.
- Click the Add Template button.
Once saved, the template can be selected when composing an email in Jackrabbit.
