Create a custom email template with the legacy Template Editor

Objective


Create a custom email template with formatted text, images, links, and other content using the legacy Template Editor.

Solution


Create a reusable email template using the legacy Template Editor, where you can format text, insert images and links, and add attachments using the editor toolbar.

  1. Go to Gear > Settings > Email Templates.
  2. Click the Add Template button.
  3. Enter the Template Name.
  4. For Type, select HTML.
  5. Enter the Subject Line.
  6. Use the Message editor to create and format the email content. Options include:
    • Format text, including font, size, alignment, and other text styles.
    • Add bulleted or numbered lists.
    • Insert links.
    • Insert images.
    • Add tables and other available formatting.
  7. If needed, add an attachment.
  8. Click the Add Template button.

Once saved, the template can be selected when composing an email in Jackrabbit.
