User ID passwords - reset options

Objective

Understand the available options for resetting a User ID password.

Solution

User ID passwords can be reset in one of two ways:

Use the Forgot Password link on the login page to reset the password.
Have a User with the appropriate permissions reset the password from Gear > Settings > Users & Permissions.

If a User ID is locked out due to failed login attempts, resetting the password using the Forgot Password link also restores access to the account.
